Avery Point: Regional Campus

UConn’s Avery Point campus is a center of excellence for ocean education. Located near Long Island Sound, students learn by doing in courses that emphasize experiential learning. The campus’ marine sciences facility is home to a number of companion programs that contribute to UConn’s standing among the country’s leading research institutions. The U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center is also located on our campus.

Directions

Take I-95 north/south to Exit 87, Clarence Sharp Highway.
Continue on Clarence Sharp Highway; at second traffic light turn right.

At the next traffic light, which is Benham Road, turn left.
Proceed for about 1.5 miles to the entrance of the Avery Point Campus.
