School of Medicine

UConn’s School of Medicine is one of the leading research centers in the nation. The School’s faculty members include experts in medical law and ethics, international health, health care policy and domestic violence.

The School of Medicine conducts research in a variety of areas, including cardiology, musculoskeletal medicine, cancer and public health. UConn’s School of Medicine has three student-run clinics for the homeless in Hartford where volunteer faculty and students offer their services in screening, education and basic outpatient treatment.
